A diet packed with healthy and fiber-rich vegetables along with good proteins can be hard to cook every day because of man’s fast-paced lifestyle. Although this may be the case, we can start turning our diets upside down with these superfoods that should guarantee more nutrients that our body needs.


This yellow citrus fruit is the king of Vitamin C. Its high content of ascorbic acid helps repair damaged cells and also boosts our immune system. It shields us against viral diseases like common colds and flu. On another note, age-related skin illness like wrinkles and stretch marks can be healed through enough vitamin C in the body. Not to mention lemons’ natural ability to create collagen in the skin.


Aside from a daily dose of protein, salmon gives omega 3-fatty acids that does wonders to the body. Omega 3-fatty acids are good fats that our body needs to reduce blood fat levels, which can lower the risk of heart disease.
